This is a stunning vintage original set of 6 hand painted ash trays. Each is individually painted by hand. A proper host would provide each guest with an individual ash tray to use. That way they wouldn't have to disrupt their conversation to find a single shared central ash tray, or worse, all be tethered to that spot. Individual trays allowed them to mingle so they could enjoy their cigarette and the party.
