Beautiful Victorian RARE Large Gilt & Glass Locket

Here is such a lovely large rare victorian gilt & glass bubble locket. The locket is large & measures one & a quarter inches by one & threequarter inches, including the bail and is all set in victorian gilt metal. The locket is quite fabulous and is made of glass, which is clear either side in a bubble effect with a depth of over a quarter of an inch and looks through pools of light. The locket opens & closes as it should, to put photos inside and it really looks fabulous with a photo in it, that you can see through, with lovely effect. The locket dates very clearly to the victorian period or earlier and only has slight age related wear and has a  bail for attatching to a chain & this is a lovely example that is still in such good condition. This really is a beautiful victorian locket in very good origional complete condition, that looks so lovely worn and a really lovely quality example of these.
