Vintage original 7 x 9.25 in. US single-weight glossy photograph from the 1940s "updated version" of animated comedy, THREE LITTLE PIGS, released in Canada in 1941 and produced by Walt Disney Productions.

As indicated by the original paper snipe affixed to the verso, the image depicts Walt Disney's "Big Bad Wolf" who bears as striking resemblance to Adolf Hitler with rolls of scrapped treaties bulging from his pockets. This was an "updated version" of the Three Little Pigs that was "now ready for release in Canadian theatres. Donald Duck, Mickey Mouse and all the other Disney characters have been enlisted by the Canadian government to help sell Defense Bonds" during WWII. It features the original paper snipe on the verso which describes the image and a date stamp of MONDAY DEC 22 1941. It is in near-fine condition as shown with some light waviness on the front that corresponds to where the paper snipe is on the verso with a few small tears on the borders. Rare!
