You are bidding on a superbly retro kitsch hi-fi system from the 1990s.

Made by Akura, this is excellently built into a giant plastic Beck's lager can.

The front opens up to reveal two integrated speakers and a radio, twin cassette deck (with recording function) and CD player, with stacking CD storage underneath.

Unit measures 36 inches high and 20 inches in diameter. Weighs over 10kg.

Beck's logo is on the front and back.

The radio, both casstte players/recorders and CD all work fine.

However, there are several issues which I will detail now;

The right-hand speaker/door doesn't open smoothly and needs a gentle pull/push to open/close. It usually plays ok, but is sometimes intermittent. The left-hand speaker plays perfectly.

The CD drawer doesn't always open properly when the button is pressed. It just requires you to pull it slightly and then it works automatically.

There are several scuff marks to the outer casing, which I have tried to show on the photos. There is also 2 inch crack to the casing of the rim of the lid, which again is shown on the photos. Overall, the whole unit still looks fantastic though.

It did originally have a remote control, but that is missing.

Power lead is about 1 metre long.

This is an exceptional piece of 1990s memorabilia and would look amazing in any funky home or man cave.

Feel free to message for more photos.

Due to the size and weight of this piece it has to be collection only from WF7 postcode.

Happy bidding!
