Original WW2 US Air Force flight log book owned by Salon Wells Robinson a pilot in training. This books first entry is on February 24th 1943 and the last log 9th April 1944. Robinson had done all of his training in a light recon aircraft known as a Cub, made by Piper between 1938-1947. Overall Robinson amassed over 52 hours of flight time during his training on this aircraft. Over gradual time, its notable that Robinson flew with the instructor up until 24th March 1943 and then the majority of his flights were dual alongside the instructor until the last entries where he flew solo for a significant period of time.

a very interesting log book, complete with a photograph of Robinson (modern laminated photo). Certainly worth more research.
