I don't believe that you need to pay excessive amounts to feel good so why should everyone else.  Nepal is the renowned centre for quality Pashmina/Cashmere, so here at Distinct Impressions we have been to the specialists and we have been to the factories in Nepal and personally selected our suppliers based on a number of key factors.  Firstly the product must be ethically sourced, of good quality, a reasonable price and preferable for the money to go straight back into the community. We have sourced without a middleman so that there are no crazy profit margins.

At Distinct Impressions, we are honest about our products and the price is indicative of the quality so we will continue to bring you "Pashmina shawls" that are blended material and are generally made in Thailand but when we bring you Cashmere- It is Cashmere and it's the real deal and it's from Nepal.

When you purchase from us, you also support a talented female silversmith in Chiang Mai, a silk weaving community in the Isaan region of Thailand (that keeps the traditional 'Mudmee' craft alive). Then, my friend in Vietnam helps maintain her village's sustainability with her Shibori Silk Designs and in Nepal, we have aligned ourselves with a Cashmere business that supports Disabled Newlife Centre Nepal Even our organza bags (used for jewellery) are made by leprosy survivors in Nepal. Isolated from their families, they make these bags to survive. I hope you enjoy our products.

Domestic Shipping

 Free Postage - All orders will be processed and dispatched within 1 business day. Standard Australia Post parcel delivery times will then apply once your parcel leaves our warehouse. Your parcel will generally reach your intended delivery address within 3-5 business days from the time you place your order.

Express Postage - Your item will be sent Express Post with tracked shipping. You pay postage only for your first item. Free postage on all subsequent items within Australia. Depending on location 1-3 business days.
