Antique Oak Piano Stool-Empire Style-Adjustable Swivel Seat with Leather-3 Outer Tapered Legs-Pedestal Center-Bun Feet

Beautiful Antique (late 19th /early 20th century) Oak Piano Stool with graceful straight lines and accents.  Acquired over a quarter century ago from an antique auction, this piece was proudly displayed with an equally aged player piano.

Three outer tapered legs with metal/brass ferrules top and bottom.  Classic center pedestal support fits from base to seat base. The seat is adjustable and swivels. Appears to be Tiger Oak.  As shown in the pictures there is a crack in the wood surrounding the leather seat.
Base has three bun style feet, one is split.

This Piano Stool alone weighs approximately 16.4 lbs not including shipping packaging and is about 20” high with seat in the original position.

Most piano stools comparable to this style are listed as  "Empire Style" or “American Empire” but I found none where the center pedestal was complete from top to the base.  The legs are more reminiscent of the clear, sharp style of Federal type. There were no labels or makers marks to verify the original crafts person of the piece or the date of manufacture.
