This is a rare 185-million-year-old Hildoceras ammonite fossil that has been polished to best show off the ammonites' body.  It is from Ilminster in Somerset.

You will receive 1 fossil which will be randomly selected and is similar to the fossils pictured. Each fossil is between approximately 2”/5-6cm long.

The fossil is presented in a lovely black cardboard display box (78 x 60 x 25mm) for display purposes and to keep it safe - it also contains an information label giving a certified description the contents.
