This wooden Airplane kit is cut from 1/2" Cedar and has a wingspan of 18" . It mounts on a 3/8" x 4"  pin that's included. The Kit includes everything but EPOXY glue,  paint and the tools to make this airplane whirligig .

The difficult steps have been done . Holes are drilled and the propeller is assembled. We believe this is a kit for beginners .

You'll need to ...

1 ) square the rounded inside corners on the fuselage to fully seat the wing

2 )  sand and paint the plane however  you'd like

3 )  EPOXY the mounting stem and pivot ball in the pre drilled pocket. ( Instructions  provided )

4 ) attach the wing with 2 screws and the tail can be glued with EPOXY or you can drill a hole in the tail piece and use the extra screw provided to secure the tail.

These wood pieces should be sanded and well  sealed to last as long as possible

• These cedar weathervanes will weather gracefully  outside barring any  physical assault.
• We use cedar for the plane and mahogany for the propellers that have a nylon bushing , a stainless steel stem , galvanized screws and a brass propeller screw .

    • The mounting pin is steel and should 

       be kept greased once it has been

       installed.
