This framed and glazed original watercolour features a study of the old Ministering Childrens’ League Convalescent Home in Cottesloe, Western Australia. Built in 1909, it is one of the finest examples of Federation Style architecture in Australia. During its 113 year lifetime it has served as a convalescent home, a military hospital, an annex to Fremantle Hospital and an aged care facility. I love painting old buildings and this one is a beauty!

This study was painted by local Perth award winning artist Hadyn Kiesey whose work sells throughout Australia and overseas.  The image size is 28.5 cm x 19.5 cm. The framed and glazed work is 45.5  cm x 36.5 cm x 2 cm.  The painting is new and in excellent condition.  The mat white frame, white mat and reveal, ideally compliments the picture.  The painting is offered with free express postage in Australia.

If you like this work but would prefer a subject that is special to you, Hadyn also does work on commission.  If this option appeals to you please feel free to contact us.
