Brand New Laser Cut Rib Kit for the Midwest Profile 33" Messerschmitt 109 Warbird .15 Engines

This listing is for the Rib Kit only (shown in 3rd image x2), No plans, not an entire kit.

16 RIB parts PLUS 2A and 2B wing rib jigs are all that is being offered in this partial short rib kit.

WARNING: DO NOT BUY THESE PLANS OFF THE INTERNET - THEY ARE AVAILABLE FREE OF CHARGE!  I have noticed some folks are printing and selling you these free plans.  The plans are free, but if you wish to pay them for printing, then that’s okay so long as you know they are available in full scale online. You can download these plans free of charge from a few model airplane sites on the web and for an average of $9.00, you can have the plans printed at your local FedEx Office (old Kinkos) full scale.  Save your money on the printing of the plans and spend it on the rib kit - hint hint!!!  I will be happy to share with you the free repository of plans.  Just ask.

I’m sure that there are lots of flyers like me who purchased what was said to be full sized scale plans only to find that many, if not all the most important parts were under scaled, not accurate, etc..  That was fine when the kits were available and the parts were die cut or laser cut. But when we are trying to recreate that kit from those golden years, accuracy is key to excellent flying.

I have spent time redrawing the ribs for this out of production Midwest kit.  On the full sized plans you can buy (or download free from various sites) most blueprints show the ribs and other parts but they are shrunken to fit on the single page (see 5th image of my Midwest plans).  The most important and hardest part to cut from scratch are the ribs and they are the least accurate on the plans… but I solved my problem.  I have completely redrawn all the parts in this kit.  I am offering the wing ribs and supporting parts (not the main spar) for those who want to quickly and accurately build and fly this model.

I am only asking the price of the balsa, shipping and a few extra dollars for my time and I’ll send you the ribs I used to build my ME 109.

If you already have the plans and you are now dragging your feel because you know how much time and effort you will have to commit to recreating the toughest parts, then let me give you the accelerator you need to get to flying rather than spending time being bogged down trying to replicate the inaccurate rib parts on those plans being offered for sale (and free download) today.

I usually will cut your ribs the day or day after the order is placed.  The extended handling time is only there in case there are unforeseen circumstances cause delays in cutting - shipping usually within a couple days or so.

This listing is for the set of ribs needed to build this model plane.  It does not include anything else.
All items sent USPS First Class (or priority if buyer selects).
Since these are made to order custom parts, returns are typically not accepted.

Thanks for looking.
