 You are looking at a very nice used microphone connector / adapter called the from the 1970's or 80's. This vintage connector has both female 1/4 inputs. This model is used to connect two male 1/4 inch cables. It's for a specific scenario of course but if you need to use two male 1/4 inch cables and need the ability to connect the two then this adapter will do nicely.

 The adapter is a quality brass piece with chrome plated finish. 

 The adapter is appx 3 1/4 inches in length.
