Here is a really lovely victorian solid silver lovers knot double heart sweetheart brooch. The brooch measures threequarters of an inch by two inches & is all set in solid silver,. This brooch is really lovely & quite unusual with a good strong victorian design, with typical victorian chasings & then to the centre it has a rope style surround with ivy to the corners & then two hearts joined with a lovers knot above, which are raised in a 3d effect & then nicely highlighted in rose gold, which all gives a really lovely effect. This brooch is a antique sweetheart brooch which were given to nearest & dearest as tokens of love affection endearment with hidden meanings with this one being all about love & has a pin & Cclasp working well & dates clearly to the victorian era & has a full set of english hallmarks for Chester, silver but this is very rubbed with age & dates to the victorian era & just has wear as you would associate with age, but certainly nothing that detracts, see pics. This really is a lovely victorian sweetheart brooch in very good origional complete condition & a very pretty unusual example of these.Please note photos taken before polishing.
