This is a perky vintage navy blue cellophane straw derby hat that is enhanced with a red ribbon over a navy blue ribbon around the crown and a bow at the back. A navy blue ribbon goes around the top of the brim. There is a union label. The hat is unlined and measures about 20 1/2" around the inside band. The crown is 3 1/2" high; the brim is 2 1/2" high.
Pictures may not show actual size and colors. Please keep in mind that this hat had a previous life but shows little wear. Vintage hats sometimes show some age and may need to be shaped. This was a fashionable style in the 1960s.
As with most vintage items this hat has been gently used and may or may not show signs of normal wear consistent with its age. Although I try to describe this accurately I may miss something, such as a bit of wear, when describing it.
