Distressed Antique Wooden + Brass Star Back 3.5 Inch Ratchet Reel / Salmon Trout.

Delightful vintage fly fishing reel with lots of patina. Much verdigris to the brass work and scuffing unpolished wooden reel.

The reel turns and the ratchet can be heard. It has a friction when turning and I'm not sure if this is correct or if it should turn completely freely.

I am partially disabled and cannot undo the centre screw, and therefore cannot ascertain if it is seized or not
