Swedish world top player, four time world champion and ten times European Champion

"  For the young Swedish generation that took over the World's table tennis stage 1989 by beating China in the team finals at the Worlds in Dortmund, Kjell Johansson had a great importance. Kjell Johansson won three golds at the Worlds Championships in Doubles, 1967 and 1969 with Hans Alsér, and 1973 with Stellan Bengtsson. He was leading the team which became World Champions 1973. He's known as the Hammer" - Jens Fellke

This blade was issue in honor of his contributions to table tennis and lead to so many more Swedish greats - Applegren, Waldner, Person... etc.  

This limited Edition was issued in the 80-90's, serial number E144/200. 

Conic handle. Gently tried on the table, no chips, nicks of any kind. The wood grain is tight and beautiful as shown. Edges show some discoloration due to age.
