The thickness has been carefully chosen to maximise comfort and stickiness, but without losing control and feeling to the strings.
The under-side of the grip has self-adhesive tape – Remove your old grip and replace for this one for the ultimate control, but it can also be applied over the top of an existing grip if you prefer a chunky feel.

FAQs
Does this replace the grip that came with my racket or do I fit it over the top of that grip?
The thickness is made to perfectly replace your existing/original tennis, squash or badminton racquet grip - That's how most people use them. You can use it as an overgrip too though, by wrapping the Raquex grip over the top of your existing grip, if you prefer a chunky feel. It's all down to personal preference.
How padded/thick is this tape. I am looking to cover my daughters wheelchair handles as she occassionally bangs her head on them
Our grips do have padding; we have a number of other customers using them happily for walking sticks, wheel chairs and even handle bars.
What grip size is needed for a tennis racquet?
Our grips are a single length, suitable for all racquets include tennis. You will probably need to cut the end of the grip as there is ample length. We include a leaflet with every order which has some guidance on how to fit your grip too.
