Wood is famous for his semi-autobiographical movie Glen or Glenda, in which he plays Glen, a man who wears women's clothes, especially his girlfriend's angora sweater. Edward D. Wood, Jr. also directed Plan 9 From Outer Space, a classic science fiction B-movie.

There is a first day cover for this stamp; check out my listing for it.

Canadian Picture Postage stamps are valid for postage but are printed in much smaller quantities than general-issue stamps and sold by Canada Post at a premium above face value to the stamp's client. Picture Postage stamps have been used to commemorate family events, anniversaries, historical events, organizations, charities, causes, hobbies, wildlife and animals, and many different themes. For thematic or topical collectors, a Picture Postage stamp can fill that gap in your exhibit or collection.

The stamp is unused and will be on backing paper (All Picture Postage stamps are self-adhesive).

Save on the shipping; I can combine postage and handling if you order multiple items. Add items to the shopping cart and ask for an invoice.
