Fast & Effective Rust Treatment

JENOLITE Rust Converter Aerosol is a fast and effective way to treat rust. The epoxy based formulation chemically converts rust in to a stable surface that prevents further rusting.

Easy to use, simply spray directly onto rust and watch it work, transforming rust into a ready to paint black / purple surface. Resistant to water vapour, oxygen and carbon dioxide, once treated, the surface can be painted directly over, without the need for a primer.

Available in Aerosol and Non-aerosol formats.

How To Use

Remove all traces of oil or grease. Remove old paint and loose rust with steel wool or wire brush.

  1. PREPARE THE SURFACE Remove all loose dirt & debris from the area to be coated. If required, clean and thoroughly dry the area. Remove any previous surface coatings with a wire brush and abrasive paper.
  2. SHAKE CAN VIGOROUSLY BEFORE USE. Apply from 15cm to 25cm in light coats. Do not flood. Apply lighter coats to avoid runs. Apply 2 or 3 light coats, allowing 15 minutes to dry in between coats. For the best results, ensure that the rusted surface is agitated with a wire brush or sandpaper before application.
  3. STORAGE & REUSE On completion of use, invert can and depress actuator for a few seconds to prevent nozzle blockage.
