Available for immediate purchase is this elegant, new in presentation box (light shelf wear to box), vintage 1952 CONFIRMED, sealed with cording, membrane (no lift), and promotional paper insert intact, made in France, guaranteed original and authentic (Batch Number: JP5052/523; Reference Number 459), Joy de Jean Patou real parfum (perfume) splash in a 0.50-ounce (1/2 ounce or 15ml) size by Jean Patou Paris.

Please Note: The item in this listing is the much more difficult to find, older bottle style with the black-bordered paper foil label, NOT the later, much more common 22k gold electroplate label.
All photos were taken at 40x magnification to best highlight overall item condition. This bottle stands approximately TWO inches (or five centimeters) tall. The buyer will receive the exact item pictured.

Many sellers erroneously state that this bottle design was made by Baccarat. However, since 1949, Patou perfume bottles (except for the more recent, extremely expensive limited editions) were made by high-end, luxury glass maker, Verreries Brosse.
Only the bottles made between 1930 and 1949 were made by Baccarat.

Joy is a unique concentration of rare flowers and was originally launched in 1930. Top notes include tuberose, rose, ylang-ylang blossom, aldehydes, pear, and green notes. Middle notes feature jasmine and iris root on a base of musk, sandalwood, and mild musky civet tones.

Return Policy
My goal is for you to be pleased with your experience. Please contact me via eBay’s messaging system and I will take proper care of you. To qualify for a full refund, the seller must receive the returned item in the exact condition in which the seller originally sent the item. Returns with usage, damage, or leakage caused by the buyer (i.e. ruined boxes and/or labels; broken or tampered-with cording, stoppers, and/or seals) do not qualify for a full refund. In the extremely rare instance where the seller has reason to believe the original contents were either altered or removed/replaced by the buyer then no refund will be provided. Buyers who abuse the return policy or falsify item condition will be blocked from future transactions and reported to eBay.
