Vintage Pre-owend Stone Cutters 3lb 12oz Axe/Hammer Cleaned.

A nice clean stone cutters axe that has been treated for rust then brushed on a wire wheel fixed to a bench grinder.

The axe was finnished off with a buffing wheel and a good quality polishing compound.

The axe measures just about 9-1/4" long.

The finnish left by the surface rust is really quite  interesting effect.

As you can see in the photos there is some heavy wear on one of the four corners of the axe.

The axe will have no handle, thehole were the handle goes measures just under 35mm x 25mm.

The width of the axe is about 45 mm, (this measurement was taken from the tip that has minimal wear on it.

At the axe  measures 30mm thick at the middle of the axe.
