Original WW1 era FRENCH MILITARY map of Belgium entitled "OSTENDE" which includes NIUEWPOORT and the area which would become known as the 'YSER BRIDGEHEAD'.

It came to me with a collection of German WW1 military maps of France and Belgium and was probably a souvenir picked up by a German officer early in the War.

The map also covers the entire beach landing area for OPERATION HUSH (1917) which was postponed when the Battle of Passchendaele ground to a halt.

It was produced in May 1913 and measures 86cm x 62cm.

Condition is very good for a paper map of its age with just one edge nick and a tiny hole from fold wear at the centre.

POSTAGE - Will be sent using Royal Mail's Guaranteed Delivery by 1pm Service which will adequately cover the insurance cost of the item. This is fully tracked and requires a signature on receipt. Missed deliveries may result in the buyer having to rearrange a delivery date as per Royal Mail's instructions.

International parcels will be fully tracked. The seller reserves the right to cancel any sale to destinations which cannot guarantee a fully tracked route from door to door.

PLEASE NOTE - Following BREXIT, some items exported from the UK to EU countries may now incur import tariffs on arrival. This depends on the overall value of the item (or items) contained within the package. UK sellers are now required to display these details in the form of a Customs Declaration attached to the outside of the package. Such matters are beyond my control as the process is administered by the Customs Department of the destination country. With this in mind, please can all buyers from EU countries make themselves aware of how these changes may affect them when purchasing items from the UK. Thank you in advance for your patience and understanding.
