Primitive antique rectangular metal tin box with handle and lid that I believe was used as a lunch tin or for other travel or transport of smaller perhaps personal items. All original and all welds are also original. Top of handle has a brass engraved plaque that reads WATERMAN, 85 CORNHILL so older address. This was purchased in Western Pennsylvania about 30 years ago.

There is a light coating on the tin that has started to flake off in places that is a dark gray and very similar to the color of the metal underneath. Box is nice weight and measures 9-1/4 inches by 5-3/4 inches and stands just over 5 inches tall without lid. With lid is almost 6 inches tall (excluding small handle) and from base to top of main handle is 9 inches tall overall height.

Please see photos for overall condition - very nice primitive item with charming scalloped detail on top of lid.
