Big, Old, embossed, clear glass bottles. Mudlark Finds. Tallest , is embossed "BRYLCREEM"  which was a hair product for men designed to hold the hair in place and make it shine. When this product was in common use, it was the norm for people to place anti-macassars on the backs of chairs and sofas to prevent the BRYLCREEM from rubbing off onto the furniture!  It  is 25cm tall/width is 8cm. A heavy, thick glass bottle. It also has its original bakelite lid. The second bottle is  14cm   tall and 6cm across  the base. It is 12cm at its widest. It is embossed with a ridged pattern and the initials "C&M" I believe this would have been some kind of cosmetic or beauty product for ladies. It has its original metal cap (brass?) which is again embossed with the same initials. These are  lovely old bottles from the era when something as mundane as a bottle was still well made.  They are perfect for display or set dressing. These bottles were Mudlarked in Ripponden near Halifax in West Yorkshire. They vary in age but I believe they are about 50-70 years old. Please do look at the photos as they form part of the description. Price is for both bottles..
