Barnes and Noble Nook Tablet - For Parts/Repair 

Condition as follow: Back of unit is in fair condition with light signs of previous use. Front of unit and screen are in very good condition with minimal signs of previous use. Unit does not power on. Can not be tested further. Nook only. No other items, accessories or retail packaging included. The Nook 1st Edition (styled "nook") is the first generation of the Nook e-book reader developed by American book retailer Barnes & Noble, based on the Android platform. The device was announced in the United States in October 2009 and was released the next month. The Nook includes Wi-Fi and AT&T 3G wireless connectivity, a six-inch E Ink display, and a separate, smaller color touchscreen that serves as the primary input device. In June 2010 Barnes & Noble announced a Wi-Fi-only model of the Nook. On June 5, 2018 Barnes and Noble announced support for logging in to BN.com and adding new content to the device will end on June 29, 2018. The second-generation Nook, the Nook Simple Touch, was announced May 25, 2011 with a June 10 release date.


This version made its debut on June 21, 2010, at a retail price of $149. It is a version of the Nook 1st Edition that supports Wi-Fi only and not 3G Wireless, and it was launched with firmware version 1.4 preinstalled. It is physically easily distinguishable from the 3G + Wi-fi gray-backed version, due to its white back color. A price reduction was made on May 25, 2011, dropping to a closeout price of $119 in accord with the announcement of the new Nook, named the Nook Simple Touch Reader.

SHIPPING

We ship using expedited services including USPS Priority Mail, FedEx Ground, FedEx Home. We do not ship via UPS because there is no drop off location in our area. We constantly monitor the shipping companies to make sure your packages arrive without delay. This means if USPS is experiencing delays, we may choose (without buyer’s consent) to ship with FedEx or the other way around. Either way, we make sure the package gets to you as quickly as possible.

We typically ship every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday with exceptions for holidays and emergencies.

In any situation where the shipping company attempts to deliver a product and it is not deliverable to the address provided, a signature is required and nobody signs for the package or any similar situation where the product is returned to us without our express approval, the return may be denied by us and any related shipping and/or selling fees that we are charged are forfeited and will not be returned.

 

RETURNS

Free returns policy applies only to products that are defective (unless defect is described in ad) or not as described. If our products are open box, refurbished, or used they are fully inspected and tested before they are listed and any pertinent information regarding the product condition can be found in the “Condition” section of the ad and in the provided photos if applicable. When returns come back to us, we fully inspect and test the products again and if a claim is found to be false there is a restock fee that will include all shipping charges back and forth and any associated fees that we were charged throughout the process of the sale of the item. False claims are also reported to eBay for violations of eBay policies and can result in penalties such as account suspension and other forms of discipline decided by eBay on a case to case basis.

Returns are not accepted for "buyer's remorse".

Returns are not accepted for products sold as “Parts/Not Working”.

Returns are not accepted on any product where the ad contains the text “All sales on this product are final”, "no returns on this item" or any similar phrasing.

We do not accept returns for the reason "delayed by the shipping company". Once the item is shipped, we do not have control over the shipping companies. It is the buyer’s responsibility to contact the shipping companies for any shipping related issues.

If an item is returned, the item must be returned in exactly the same condition in which it was sent. This includes all parts and pieces of the products as well as the packaging if the item is sent in retail packaging.

Valid returns are accepted for 30 days after date of delivery.
