This watercolour painting shows the Church of the Savior on Spilled Blood, a Russian Orthodox Church in Saint Petersburg, located on the Griboyedov Canal. Its official name is Church of the Resurrection of Jesus Christ. The Church is also known as the Savior on Blood, and there are other names and translations of these in circulation. We also see houses along side the canal and a bridge.
