For sale is a vintage 1990s Salsa A La Carte in orange. Handbuilt in Petaluma, California. Serial number SM2427. Harder and harder to find these vintage frames, and they almost never come around in this color, let alone condition. Seat tube measures 18" c-t-t, 16.5" c-t-c. Top tube measures ~21". RockShox Recon fork.

Bike is built single speed with White Industries ENO hubs and crankset with 34T ring and integrated outer guard. Flip flop rear hub, fitted with 17T ENO freewheel. Hubs laced to Mavic ceramic rims. Shimano XTR V-brakes and levers. Thomson seatpost. Chris KING headset. Salsa stem. Easton Monkey Lite carbon riser bar. WTB saddle. Maxxis tires, Ardent 2.4" front, Ikon 2.2" rear.

Vintage pre owned condition. Exceptionally clean, well kept condition. Absolutely no dents, dings, cracks, rewelds, crash damage, etc. Has been sitting for years but rides great. Fork feels good. Wheels are in very nice shape. Super smooth headset and bottom bracket.

Rear tire sidewall is slightly thinning, seen in photos, still feels great. Rear brake cable housing feels slightly stiff, front feels fine. May as well recable both as the current ones are no spring chickens. Front hub bearing has a slight amount of detectable play. Definitely notice it in the stand more than on the bike. These White Industries hubs are readily serviceable in any case. Easton bars show some superficial wear, pictured.

This is a vintage bike and is not perfect. It may have some minor wear which I might not have noticed, though I do my best to be extremely thorough. Cranks have a couple small scrapes, but are very clean and look great. A little bit of wear to the Chili Pepper headbadge and Moto seat tube decal. Grips are poked through on the ends, but still fine for riding. Replace them eventually, it's no rush. No pedals included.

Really a wonderfully kept bike, in great shape. I've been very nitpicky in my above description.
