replace your trunk latch cover plate.

Matches the headlight cover logo design on your Cougar. This Nickel Plated Heavy Metal Piece is meant to replace the flimsy, paper thin metal Trunk Lock Cover Plate with a nice, high quality emblem that is a very thick 1/8"!

The photos don't do this great piece justice. It's a great quality piece that you can be proud of having on your Mercury Cougar from any car needing restoration to show car. It will make a great and make a great conversation piece!

NOTE: LATCH NOT INCLUDED!!!
For easy installation, each piece is custom fitted on an actual 1967-1968 Cougar truck latch cover before shipment, however, you may need to file edges slightly to fit your cover plate.

Also, this piece does not have adhesive back, it is recommended to use a little dab of clear silicone to adhere to your trunk latch cover and let dry over night.
