FIREFLY, THE SHOW/SERENITY THE MOVIE, AND NETWORK, BAT CRAZY INSANITY!

One of the most surprising and bewildering media news, that I ever heard was that Firefly, was getting cancelled, by the television network, after just one season.

I still to this day feel angry, confused and bewildered, at this decision. What where they thinking?

It was the best science fiction show, on the air in years, it had that wild, crazy, chaotic, western vibe, that just made it so original and unique.

It had one of the best ensemble casts, ever brought together, it was hard to believe, that they where actually actors, they just seemed so real. The way they interacted, humorously and seriously, was a joy to behold.

The show was created by Joss Whedon, a total genius and with his crack team of writers, the show just sparkled and entertained at the very highest level, every week.

Obviously, something this good, can't just fade out, die and disappear. Thank goodness that we have the comic medium to keep Firefly alive.

I enjoyed the Dark Horse series, however I am absolutely thrilled by the BOOM STUDIOS, take, on this mind blowing show.

I strongly believe that Firefly can go on forever as a comic, and who knows, one day, Joss might bring, the best show in the world, ever to be cancelled, back to the screen, and these Boom comics, might even be the template for the scripts.

Here's hoping, and thank you fellow Browncoats, for reading this, the reputation of Firefly is growing each year, as more and more people, hear about the show, that they missed, first time around. It's marvellous that the show, now, has a leigon of new, young fan's.

Thank goodness that at least, we have Serenity, the movie, and one glorious, awesome season, and a new comic, every month to look forward to, as well as special treats, like the holiday specials and one shots.

I am not a comic dealer,or a comic shop, I am a comic fan, selling and off loading some of my collection.

The comics are being sold as seen, in what I call pre enjoyed, generally quite decent, and readable condition. Some will have imperfections like age, creases, newsagent writing, shelf wear, minor repairs, corner dinks and so on, especially the vintage comics.

My advice is to use the zoom feature provided by eBay, if you see something you don't like, please do not buy. Get in touch instead and I will try to provide more details.

If I notice obvious flaws, I will point these out for your consideration.

I veiw preservation and restoration as an essential component of being a collector. If I feel it is necessary and beneficial to a comic, I sometimes make repairs with magic invisible. I sometimes mention this when listing, but not always. These repairs are discrete and not majorably overbearing.

As a general rule, I do not sell comics that I would not be happy to pickup and read myself. Grading music is my specialty, I'm sorry, but I do have the time or expertise, to grade comics!

I DO NOT USE STOCK OR GENERIC PHOTOS, WHAT YOU SEE IS EXACTLY WHAT YOU ARE BUYING. LOOK CAREFULLY AT THE PHOTOGRAPHS. THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT WILL BE LANDING ON YOUR MAT IF YOU DECIDE TO PURCHASE. IT'S QUITE RARE FOR ME TO SELL BRAND NEW COMICS, SO PLEASE HAVE A REALISTIC ADDITUDE, AND AN AWARENESS TOWARDS PRE LOVED MERCHANDISE.

For an indefinite period I will be listing 2000AD related comics like the Prog, the Megazine, Crisis etc.

I don't want to leave anyone out so I will be listing other comics also, from the US and elsewhere, both contemporary and vintage.

I am a really big fan also of The Crunch and Bullet, 2 massively underrated and underappreciated UK, D.C Thomson comics from the seventies and eighties that deserve a lot more attention. I have begun to list these vintage titles also.
