Pretty 1930’s - 1940’s vintage cotton top sheet & matching pillowslip, both trimmed with machine bobbin lace.

The fabric is cream, strong & sturdy, slubby; the lace is white cotton.

Lace insertion is 5 cm wide, edging is 5.5 cm.

The pillowslip has machine-embroidered initials J.M.B & is open both ends.  

Pillowslip length 89 cm, width (top to bottom) 49 cm.

Both are in good vintage condition - there are a couple of small, pale spots on the sheet & a small grey mark on the pillowslip (last 3 photos). They are laundered, fresh & ready to use. 

This size is suitable for a single bed or old-fashioned ¾.
