Customer Notice: Neodymium magnets are made from metallic powders that are pressed into shapes and treated in a furnace. These shapes are then electroplated with nickel to prevent corrosion. The shiny nickel coating gives the impression that the magnets are made of solid metal but they are physically more like pottery.
