Here is a lovely art deco quality czech neiger amethyst bead pendant flapper necklace. The necklace is long measuring approx fourty four inches all the way round excluding the pendant & drop, with the pendant measuring one & a half inches in diameter with the drop a further two & a half inches with the necklace length being approx twenty six inches long in flapper style & is all made of czech glass beads.This necklace is really lovely & absolutely typical of the maker, it really is a very striking statement example This necklace is individually hand knotted between each circular small amethyst glass bead & on its origional thread which is still strong & in the light has a lovely pink/purple colour . It then goes down to the drop with larger amethyst glass circular beads as well as lage matching oval beads nicely with engraved brass/metal sections. It then has its pendant in matching metal typically engraved filigree ornate mount with a table cut amethyst glass stone to centre & then onto a small drop with a lovely matching amethyst glass pear drop with all this amethyst beads being a lovely purple colour , which really gives a fabulous statement effect & finish. It dates very clearly to the early art deco era a true flapper piece & is totally origional & although not signed looks to be a neiger brothers piece & i have not had a example of this quality or anything similiar for a few years & as with age there is a few minute nibbles, but nothing more than you would except with age & wear. However a really fabulous art deco necklace in good origional complete condition as stated that looks lovely worn & a unusual quality rare stunning example of these.
