A used FOTO-ELECTRIC NATIONAL PRO FOOTBALL HALL OF FAME GAME (Model #233), made in 1970 by Cadaco, Inc.  For being 52+ years old, it is in remarkably good shape; when tested (plugged in), the bulb, the 10-yard and football markers in the play-viewer still work well.

 

 

ITEM  DESCRIPTION:

 

FOTO-ELECTRIC NATIONAL PRO FOOTBALL HALL OF FAME GAME – The Original Game of Football Strategy has more than 1000 Play Combinations & you Actually See Every Play on its’ Lighted Gridiron.

Be the Coach-Quarterback of your own pro football team.  You call the plays…make the decisions…and see the dramatic action on the play viewer.  Each play reflects gain or loss statistics of actual football performance.  In every situation, rules of real Football apply.  

This 1970 Game is in VG Condition as it has the following issues; Box has Moderately Heavy Wear, Tape Damage and some surface scratching.  Box also shows soiling/dust and has a 4”-5” tear in the middle of one short side.  Contents are in better shape with only light traces of wear and dust on the Cards & Spinners. In addition, the Play-Viewer Box has some warping/wavy areas.

 

OBJECT:   Outguess your opponent on both the offensive & defensive sides of the ball game by playing the cards at the optimal time.

PLAY-VIEWER: Contained in large box with illuminating light bulb; Football field, with Football Marker & 10-yard Marker.

SPINNER CARD:  for Kicks, Returns, Field Goals, Tries for Point after Touchdown, Fumbles & Blocked Kicks, Interception Returns, and Penalties.

PLAY CARDS:  12 OFFENSE Plays / 6 DEFENSE Plays

SCOREBOARD:  Records Downs, Quarters, number of plays per quarter and the Scores for bothe the Home Team and Visitors.

It is missing the RULES Pamphlet, Clear Plastic Holder, and the Envelope that holds Play Cards.

I mainly use economy shipping and/or  the “…If  it fits, it ships” (Priority Mail), from the post office.   I am willing to use Fed Ex or UPS if a customer prefers but be aware I charge a few bucks extra when I use either of  them. 

For winning bidders please be assured  that I carefully & personally pack  almost everything I sell, the size & fragility of the item bought is the main determinant on whether its sent in an envelope versus a box.

Also, winning bidders need  to please let me know if you want your item sent EXPRESS immediately. (After received payment).  I ship normally 2-3 business days after cleared payment is received, but usually can accommodate your requests.

* My ranking system scale of 1 – 100, is based loosely on the Overstreet Comic Book Price Guide scale.   (POOR 1- 20) is the worst and basically uncollectible, (FAIR 20-40) is generally a condition of heavy wear & tear or could be missing key parts.  (GOOD = 40-60) is in my opinion, the lowest a person would want to own.  (FINE = 60-80) item usually is fully functional, complete & in nice shape. (EXCELLENT = 80-90) item is almost like new / used once.   (MINT = 90 – 100) item might be new in box, unopened or just been well cared for years.

 grading system is as follows:

SW Shrink Wrapped. Still in the original factory shrink wrap, with condition visible through shrink noted. For example, ‘SW (NM)’ means shrink wrapped in near-mint condition.

MINT Perfect. Brand new.

NM Near Mint. Like new with only the slightest wear, many times indistinguishable from a Mint item. Close to perfect, very collectible. Board games in this condition may be played but show little to no wear.

EX Excellent. Lightly used, but almost like new. May show very small spine creases or slight corner wear. Absolutely no tears and no marks, a collectible condition.

VG Very Good. Used. May have medium sized creases, scuff marks, very small stain, etc. Complete and very useable.

FAIR Very well used, but complete and useable. May have flaws such as tears, pen marks or highlighting, large creases, stains, marks, a loose map, etc.

POOR Extremely well used and has major flaws, which may be too numerous to mention. Item is complete unless noted.
