ULTRA RARE 30-YEAR AGED DOM PERIGNON 1966 CHAMPAGNE

Disgorged on 19th September 1996, this bottle rested undisturbed for 30 years in the Dom Perignon cellars!

It is rare even for most Oenotheque editions, and is equivalent to the P3 or Plénitude 3 category of today!

Its value is estimated at min. 3000 - 4000 EUR.

One of the most reputable experts of Champagne, RICHARD JUHLIN scored it at 99 / 100 !

Carefully stored in a wine cellar on constant level of humidity and temperature, since its acquisition.
Both the bottle and the box are in pristine condition (except a few light scratches on the box).

Tasting notes from The World of Fine Wine (25th March 2014):

The oldest vintage in the masterclass and disgorged before all the rest, the 1966 was the most magnificent Dom Pérignon we tasted, however stunning the others were. Despite having more toast than a full English breakfast, there was not even the slightest blowsiness here, with finesse outmaneuvering intensity at every twist and turn in the hugely complex labyrinth of aromas, flavors, and textures in this mesmerizingly beautiful Champagne.
