Hanging Mughal Deccani Bronze Oil Lamp in the Shape of a Bird India with chain – 43cm – 735g

As I am sure you are aware that these are difficult to date – all I can say is that this looks old – it feels old – I am sure it is Bronze. Maybe with some copper and or brass highlights – it has the old chain with the three turkey style birds and ending in the Monkey tail hook.
