This is from my late husband's family. The note from his late mother says it belonged to his grandfather or great grandfather. It is still on its rawhide lanyard as was originally worn by his ancestor. I don't believe it was exposed to smoke or perfume as there is no trace of either. My husband had it put away in his bureau and after his death in 2010,  I kept it with other things of Richard's in my room.

I don't believe it runs, but I don't want to attempt that, so sold AS IS.

 Photos show condition. No cracks in clear cover and although worn, it is a great item. If I had someone to leave it to, I would, but decided it would be better with a watch collector.
