Up for your consideration a VtG 2 Strand Iridescent Hawaiian South Pacific Trochus Shell Lei Hula Necklace
Gorgeous 2 strands of clustered pastel colored Trochus shells with an iridescent sheen. Strung on a clasp that reads Made in Czechoslovakia. I believe this necklace was restrung from a single strand into a double and that this clasp was utilized by the person who adapted the necklace to be a shorter collar style. This is just my guess. The clasp has an inset royal blue square glass stone.
Condition is very good. Stringing is tight with no stretching. The clustered shells do have an undulating way of falling and therefore the strands do not fall in a perfect drape.
Necklace measures: 16" long(longer strand) and 14" ( shorter strand). Necklace measures about 1"+ wide (with the two strand together. )
Condition is very good.
Clasp is marked Made in Czechoslovakia.
