Yesteryears Ellison Bay & Gills Rock Richard Lauder's historical look through rare old postcards of these communities at the northern tip of Door County This 47 minute long dvd captures in sight, sounds Ellison Bay, Gills Rock, Northport, and other nearby places from 1903 up to the 1950s, using over 150 postcards and their messages penned so long ago.. Included are rare postcards such as early images of the Pioneer store, Dr. Icke's farm and beach, the ferry docks and the ferries that provided the link over the Washington Island. The combination of water, boats and the peoples who inhabited this part of Door County lets todays viewer travel back to see and enjoy many old and very seldom seen views.
