5-Drawer Ball & Claw Mahogany Lowboy - Very Heavy

I bought this over 30 years ago in Houston, Texas when we still made furniture in this country. Very solid, very well made. Main mahogany boards are almost 1 1/4" thick.

This is old growth Mahogany; slow growth, dense, heavy wood. This is not from a Chinese Mahogany farm; fertilized fast growth, less dense, lighter wood.
