This is the 9 pin flat electrical black ribbon wire that connects between your train accessory cars. If you're experiencing an intermittent electrical connection / faulty lighting, it's possible you have a damaged ribbon wire or the connector plug and/or socket causing the problem. This is an easy repair to swap these out with a good replacement if you or someone you know is handy with a soldering iron.

 The wire and the socket portion comes still attached to a section of circuit board so you can decide if you'd like to cut the wire off somewhere along its length or just use a soldering iron to remove it in its entirety instead.

Fully compatible between the accessory cars of the entire Holiday Express train line-up (380, 383, 384, 385, 386 & 387 series).
