ALL MY EPROMs have a UV proof aluminium sticker and I only sell EPROMs of synths that I actually own, properly tested.
How to see your ROM version number
1. Turn off power
2. Press and hold the RESET button (on the front panel).
3. Turn the power on.
4. Continue pressing RESET while watching the display closely.
You will see the usual "Korg 01/W Music Workstation" ad. After 2 or 3 seconds the ROM information will appear on the left edge of the display. You will see a date on one line and the ROM number beneath that. Read quickly because this appears for less than 2 seconds. The latest ROM will show:
