Matthew Holbeche Bloxam (12 mai 1805 - 24 avril 1888), originaire de Rugby, Warwickshire, Angleterre, était un antiquaire et archéologue amateur du Warwickshire, auteur d'un guide populaire sur l'architecture gothique. Il est la source originale de la légende de l'invention du jeu de rugby par William Webb Ellis.
