mid century brazillian sideboard.

A very special large sideboard bought in the 1980’s in Sau Paulo Brazil and shipped back to the U.K. 20 years back by its multi millionaire owners.

It was bought from one of the finest quality furniture retailers in Sau Paulo at the time costing the equivalent of a small home as a company perk.

The construction is mainly of solid and veneered mahogany with cow horn veneered handles that give it an opulence of magnificent proportions.

The finish is a high gloss shellack that is very durable and light reflecting. Inside the 2 pairs of double doors are 2 shelves that will swallow up all glasses or dining wares.

Being over 40 years old it does have signs of use that add to its character including small chips at the base a couple of very small fade marks on the left hand side and various very small scratches and one very light ring mark on top which is very hard to see! Overall for the age and distance travelled it’s in excellent condition.

Measurements 2.2metres wide 53cm Depth and 85cm Height.
