You are bidding on a section of an ancient Manuscript hand-written Torah Scroll Fragment from the book of Leviticus in the Original Hebrew Language on Deer Parchment. This handwritten fragment is assumed to be 500+ years old and written on red Deer skin. This Scroll came from Yemen, it is prized for its beauty of its soft deer parchment and its writing. The scroll has a beautiful deep Red color, this color is due to the process used in making the scroll, this process ages to a deeper color over the centuries. Scrolls like these are extremely rare and seldom seen in synagogues due to age and is important for its rarity of the earliest examples the Yemenite tradition of the Hebrew writings of the Bible. Due to age and constant use over the centuries, as expected there is  edge wear & tears some patches to reinforce the tears which do not effect the importance and uniqueness of these items and with care it will stay beautiful for centuries to come. א-ל / G‑d — mighty in compassion to give all creatures according to their need;

רַחוּם / rachum — merciful, that humankind may not be distressed;

וְחַנּוּן / ve’chanun — and gracious if humankind is already in distress;

אֶרֶךְ אַפַּיִם / erech apayim — slow to anger; (once, to the righteous)

אֶרֶךְ אַפַּיִם / erech apayim — slow to anger; (repeated again for the wicked)

וְרַב-חֶסֶד / ve’rav chesed — and plenteous in kindness;

וֶאֱמֶת / ve’emet — and truth;

נֹצֵר חֶסֶד / notzer chesed — keeping kindness

נֹשֵׂא עָוֹן / noseh avon — forgiving iniquity;

וָפֶשַׁע / vafeshah — and transgression;
