Warm Tips:
When the MM/MC switch on MC grade place
is for MC (Moving Coil) amplification, on MM grade place
is for MM (Moving Magnet) amplification and simultaneously charging the battery. Configuration 280ma battery, the theoretical value of a full charge can be used more than 30 hours. The first charge
need long full charging, it is recommended to use after 5 hours' charging to keep the battery in the best power state.
Recommend to choose 3 different tubes of different sound styles, and place them in different places to find the music style you like. Each ECC83 is responsible for each level of magnification, these 3 tubes are no need to match. The highest quality tube should be used as much as possible in the first amplification stage.

I´m
very surprised and pleased it arrived so fast. Thanks! Especially

No wasted time waiting perhaps 14 days for customs to declare the goods. That was the good part.
All new valve equipment sounds awful for the first couple hours whereafter the sound normally improves considerably.
This
was true here as well - to some point. But my frustration rose as the
channel balance of the thing shifted to mostly play in the left channel.
One
immediately starts to fear the worst. Is it due to imbalance in the
circuit/ components, perhaps the volume pot mistracking - or perhaps the
tubes?
I believe its the tubes - especially the one in V2. This JJ tube must have two very imbalanced halves/ envelopes.
It rather surprises me as JJ´s aren´t normally the worst brand to choose.
Luckily
I have a large collection of prima 12AX7/ ECC83: NOS Telefunken,
Siemens, Mullard, RCA´s etc. so now my riaa plays and sounds really
wonderful.
I´m
quite surprised at the high sound quality. Its unbelievably good - even
in absolute terms - not taking price into the equation.
I
own a Audio Note/ Kondo M7 FET riaa-pre to compare it to. Your riaa is
in no way embarrassed by this comparison. - So glad I found it!
Congrats on a "killer" riaa-pre. You ought to sell these by the truckloads. Nothing remotely price wise comes near.
