Vitabiotics Menopace Calcium - 60 Tablets
Vitabiotics Menopace Calcium is specially formulated to provide advanced support for women during the menopause, combining the original Menopace formula with added calcium which is needed to help maintain normal bones. The unique formula of 24 nutrients includes vitamin B6 which contributes to the regulation of hormonal activity, as well as 100mg Soya Isoflavones.
Menopace Calcium with vitamin D
As we get older, particularly around the time of the menopause, our bone density can decrease as a result of the natural reduction in our oestrogen levels. Calcium helps to reduce the loss of bone mineral in post-menopausal women.* Low bone mineral density is a risk factor for osteoporotic bone fractures‡, so it is especially important to make sure we safeguard our intake of calcium during this time.
Vitabiotics Menopace Calcium provides 700mg calcium, plus magnesium, zinc and vitamin D, which all contribute to the maintenance of normal bones. Based on the latest research, Menopace Calcium provides higher levels of 'the sunshine vitamin' D which plays a role in many areas of health, including the normal absorption and utilisation of calcium found in diet as well as contributing to the normal function of the immune system.
Regulation of Hormonal Activity
During the menopause, levels of specific hormones can change. Vitabiotics Menopace Calcium includes vitamin B6 to contribute to the regulation of hormonal activity.

Oestrogen has a positive effect on the production of collagen, a substance that forms part of the bone matrix and skin structure. After the menopause, oestrogen production can significantly decline. Vitabiotics Menopace Calcium includes vitamin C which contributes to normal collagen formation for the normal function of the skin, cartilage, bones and blood vessels.
Nutrients for Heart Health
Lower oestrogen levels may influence heart and cardiovascular health in older women. Vitabiotics Menopace Calcium includes thiamin (vitamin B1) which contributes to the normal function of the heart whilst folate, vitamins B12 and B6 contribute to normal homocysteine metabolism. Maintaining healthy lower levels of the blood amino acid homocysteine is independently linked with heart health.
*A beneficial effect is obtained with a daily intake of at least 1200mg calcium from all sources.

Items posted international usually take 3-5 days within Europe and 7-10 days outside Europe with Royal Mail. Items can however take up to 3 weeks if there are delays with the post.
