Here's an old 1930's high school yearbook featuring students and teachers, activities and sports, candids, classmates inscriptions, and such, and including graduating senior and future  iconic jazz innovator, musician, composer, and bandleader Stan Kenton.  
 
Stan Kenton was a great pianist, composer, and arranger who led a highly innovative, influential, and often controversial American jazz band showcasing such talents as Art Pepper, Stan Getz, Anita O'Day, Boots Mussuli, Shorty Rogers, Bud Shank, Lee Konitz, Frank Rosolino, Kai Winding, Fred Carter, Zoot Sims, Maynard Ferguson, Pepper Adams, Gerry Mulligan, Shelly Manne, June Christy, Jimmy Knepper, and many others, and worked with Count Basie and Nat King Cole. Some of his influential recordings are: Presentation of Progressive Jazz, City of Glass, New Concepts of Artistry in Rhythm, Lush Interlude, Cuban Fire, Portraits on Standards and others. In high school Kenton was involved in several clubs including orchestra, was the senior class president, and was affectionately called "Old Man Jazz."

Good to Very Good Condition hardback issue with tight binding and text and clean pages, with no must or mildew and no smoke effects or missing pieces, with mild age wear to the cover, and interior binding reveals inner staples have rust. Otherwise excellent.  

Great rarity looking into the early life and times of one fo the great originals. Just waiting for a good home.
