This is an antique floral pattern dish. It is 5-3/4" wide x 4-3/4" across and 1-3/4" high. Brown and green roses with pink hues as decoration.

A fellow eBayer told me that this piece was made by "Three Crown Old Ivory line, which made a number of pieces similar to Herman Ohme's Old Ivory."

She gave me the following  information:

Three Crown China (J.H.R. & Co.)
Altenburg, Thuringer, Germany/Austria, 1881-1953

and according to one of the books she has about Ohme's Old Ivory:
"The pieces are far more reasonably priced than corresponding Ohme pieces as would be expected due to the inferior workmanship. However, they do form an attractive and affordable (and 'usable') collection. The main blank style has been referred to as the 'Shamrock Border' for obvious reasons."

The book this information is from is "Collector's Encyclopedia of Old Ivory China."

I thank her so much for this as we researched it for many hours finding no information on it.

It has no chips, crazing, but has some wear to the filigree inside as would be expected with something this old.  It belonged to my late grandmother who died at the age of 65 in 1962. We have had it in a cabinet for all of these years and it was not used. I don't know the purpose of this bowl/dish as it has a hole on one end and the opposite end is pointed as if to pour something.

It does not have any marking on the back. Sold As Is due to age, not condition.

Never exposed to smoke, perfume, scent of any kind from what we know.
