The Huichol Indians from Mexico  create  intricate  Art , based on mythology.
They create the elaborate designs used in their artwork, symbolizing  health, accomplishment, good fortune  and  the spirit world ...utilizing many sacred designs.

Symbolic designs in the piece include Muwieris (healing wands; arrows), medicine baskets, the Deer God, Devil God, Singer God and the Shaman among others.

I have lived in Mexico  for over thirty years collecting Huichol art. Many  of the  Huichol Paintings  in my collection  were purchased  circa 2002  from  Maria Von  Bolshewing, Writer and early Huichol  Collector.
