It's time to go into more details on Belafonte at Carnegie Hall. We all know that the original master is a 3-track tape from 1959. This tape can't go outside USA. In 1959 RCA did the stereo master tape too, and also this one can't go outside. So, what AudioNautes Recordings could do, at the best, was to have access to one of the best 1959 Master Copy Tapes. Some months after the agreement for the licence AudioNautes Recordings got a GREAT copy of it.
AudioNautes Recordings paid a lot of extra money to have this. Do not be afraid of the copies between production master and the 3-track one. To work on the session tape can be great but sometimes it's not the best idea. AudioNautes Recordings master production tape copy is amazing, indeed. AudioNautes Recordings could not believe its quality sound.
As announced, in July 2023 the RTR tape version will be available for the first orders. Then immediately start the second batch and soon after that the double limited UHQCD will be available too, and the LP Record release, a surprise will happen later on ... Watch this space.
